Massachusetts saw its first significant snowstorm of the season on Friday, with some communities across the state seeing around a foot of accumulation.
The Blue Hill Observatory in Milton recorded 15.2 inches of snow, while North Weymouth and Natick reported 13 and 12 inches, respectively, as of 2:20 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters are warning residents venturing out as the storm clears to continue to use caution since roadways may still be slippery with blowing snow.
