Van Morrison comes to Tanglewood

The legendary Grammy Award-winning musician hits the stage Sept. 4.

Van Morrison plays Tanglewood for the first time this September.

Consider this a marvelous night for a moondance. On Sept. 4 at 7 p.m., Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, author, poet, and multi-instrumentalist Van Morrison performs for the first time in Tanglewood’s Koussevitzky Music Shed as part of the 2022 Popular Artist Lineup. Widely considered to be one of the most important living artists of our time, the Northern Irish singer-songwriter’s albums are ranked among the greatest in rock ‘n’ roll (yes, he has a place in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame), with more than 150 songs featured in major motion pictures. He will hit the stage for his beloved hits, including “Brown Eyed Girl,” “Moondance,” “Wild Night,” and “Gloria.” He joins a star-studded summer lineup at the Shed, including Ringo Star and his All-Starr Band (June 17), the Black Crowes (June 29), Earth, Wind & Fire (August 9), and more.
