Three-time Grammy winner Lizzo will hold just one show in Massachusetts as part of her “Special Tour,” and tickets go on sale soon.
With a recently-released hit single and new album set to release in July, Lizzo announced a 25-stop tour running from the end of September through the middle of November. The tour will feature rapper Latto, according to Lizzo’s Instagram.
“3 years since my last tour… and I’m finally coming back to YOU! So excited to announce the SPECIAL TOUR ’22,” Lizzo wrote on Instagram. “Y’all ready to feel special? Well… ITS ABOUT DAMN TIME❤️”
For just the fifth stop in the tour, Lizzo will take the stage at TD Garden Sept. 30. Tickets for the general public go on sale Friday April 29 at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster and there are a variety of presales available. Fans who pre-add the upcoming album will get a chance at tickets April 27, two days earlier than the general public.
The artist released “About Damn Time,” the introduction to her upcoming album, earlier this month, right before she appeared as both the host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live April 16.
She teased her upcoming album, “Special,” on Instagram April 14. The album is set to release July 15.
This album marks Lizzo’s first album release since 2019 and is her fourth studio album.
The almost two-month long tour also includes stops in Washington D.C., New York City and Philadelphia.
