Watch: The Boston Pride Parade was pure joy

At the 2013 parade, Leah Spivey from Tewksbury sported some mighty long eyelashes.

Welp, that was fun. The 46th annual Boston Pride Parade marched, sang, and danced its way through the the city, and we used Facebook Live to get you a front-row seat.

Host Ryan Breslin guided us through the festivities, which began at noon near Copley Square.

At around the 14-minute mark in the video above, we joined the parade.

Our journey started at the intersection of Boylston and Berkeley, then ended near the Public Garden’s entrance on Charles Street. Along the way, there was plenty of music, lots of smiling, a few babies, and a ton of happy people.

Happy Pride, everybody!
