On Saturday, Sept. 29, actress Gwyneth Paltrow wed Newton native Brad Falchuk. Now Paltrow has released photos and details about the big day on the website of her lifestyle brand, Goop.

“Took me a minute to get it together, but at long last, for those who have requested, a little look inside the best day of our lives,” Paltrow wrote on Instagram Friday alongside a picture of herself and Falchuk from the nuptials. She hashtagged the post #thefaltrows.

Paltrow and Falchuk first met in 2010 on the set of the Fox series “Glee,” one of four shows, along with “9-1-1,” “American Horror Story,” and “Pose,” that Falchuk co-created with Ryan Murphy. Reports that Falchuk and Paltrow were dating first surfaced in 2014, and the couple officially confirmed their relationship in 2015. They publicly announced their engagement in January 2018.

Held in Amagansett, New York, their 70-person ceremony featured “perfect weather, a superlative dinner, a dance party for the ages, and a dress that defies adjectives,” according to Goop’s writeup of the wedding. Paltrow wore a Valentino gown designed by the company’s creative director, Pierpaolo Piccioli.

“Hours later, when the last guest went home and the last champagne flute was cleared away, the day ended as it began— with beauty, love, and two very happy people,” the website wrote.

This is the second marriage for both Paltrow and Falchuk. Paltrow previously wed musician Chris Martin in 2003 before the two “consciously uncoupled” and then divorced. They have two children: daughter Apple and son Moses. According to E! News, Falchuk and ex-wife Suzanne Falchuk have two children: daughter Isabella and son Brody.
