Boston rolls out its best for Marathon Monday.

This year’s Boston Marathon is expected to have 30,000 runners and past marathons have drawn crowds of 500,000 spectators. From the days-long Marathon Expo to all the restaurants and bars along the route opening their doors to race-day watchers, there’s something for everyone in town.

This is the first Patriot’s Day race since the start of the pandemic, so the city is sure to have an extra level of excitement in the air. Ahead of race day, we want to put together a guide for all the people planning to spend the day, or weekend, in Boston.

Whether you’re coming into town for the race or you’re a Boston local with fun traditions already lined up, we want to know what you like to do in Boston for Marathon Monday.

What are the best pre- and post-race events to attend? Are parts of the city that you think everyone to visit on Marathon Monday? What bars will you make sure to stop by for a drink?

Let us know your favorite things to do in Boston on Marathon Monday by filling out the survey below or emailing us at [email protected] and we may feature your response in a future article.
